For clients’ safety and to avoid wasting money and time, it is recommended to check if client is a candidate for Eyelash Extension or Permanent Makeup/Removal listed below:
- Having one of the conditions listed below makes you not a candidate for Eyelash Extension:
- Allergies: seasonal or chemical (Contact dermatitis)
- Corneal abrasion
- Conjunctivitis, Ocular Rosacea, Blepharitis
- Lasik eye surgery, Permanent eye makeup, Eye lift
- Microdermabrasion
- Allergies to adhesives or synthetics , cyanoacrylate or formaldehyde or Glycerin
- Childbirth or major surgery within last 120 days
- Alopecia, thyroid diseases, chemotherapy
- Recent high fever or severe illness
- Medications cause temporary hair loss
- Retinoids used to treat acne and skins problems( Accutane or Retin A)
- Anticoagulants
- Having one of the conditions listed below makes you not a candidate for Permanent Makeup or Removal:
- Pregnant or nursing now
- History of Keloids, Hypertrophic Scarring
- Diabetic, Hepatitis ( A, B, C)
- Chemotherapy, Epilepsy
- Viral infections, Herpes, diseases
- Difficulty numbing with dental work, allergic to Lidocaine, Benzocaine, Tetracaine, Benzyl alcohol
- Pacemaker, major heart problems
- Abnormal heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Skin irritation, Psoriasis near the treated area
- Coldsores / Fever blister ever
- Accutane or acne treatments
- Tan by booth or sun
- Brow lift, face lift, brow tint or lash tint
- Botox less than 2 months, RetinA less than 2 weeks, recent chemical peel
- Lip fillers / Restylane / Juvederm
- Eye surgery / Injury / Corneal abrasion
- Taking blood thinners ( Aspirin, Ibuprofen, alcohol,..), Anticoagulants
- Any treatment, medication or illness that can compromise the immune system and healing ability.
